Silvia Gisela McClamrock

Silvia is a writer and a teacher. She studied Political Science and Spanish as an undergraduate at the University of Kentucky and holds two Masters of Education Degrees from Wake Forest University and Georgetown College, respectively. She currently teaches the English Language to Multilingual Learners.

In her poetry and fiction, she explores language, place, and culture. She has attended the Appalachian Writers Conference in Hindman, Kentucky and the Tremont Writers Conference at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont in Tennessee. Her work has been published in Azahares Literary Magazine, Untelling Literary and Arts Magazine, and Women Speak, Volume 11 Anthology of The Women of Appalachia Project, among others.
